Scollard Doyle are pleased to announce that Shay Davies has returned to Scollard Doyle from Kennedy Wilson. Shay will work with Stephen Kilroy and Barry Doyle as a Senior Project Manager. We also welcome a new member of staff, Niamh Grace, Niamh joins us as a Senior Cost Manager working with David Johnston and will be based in our Cork office.
Shay has over twenty years’ experience in the construction industry and is experienced in the delivery of high-density residential projects, commercial office developments and conservation works. Shay has an in-depth understanding of successful project delivery from both a client and contractor perspective and he is well known in the construction industry for his proactive approach and attention to detail. Shay has proven time and time again that he can provide innovative and effective solutions when complex challenges arise on a project.
Shay has worked on several high-profile projects around the globe from one of London’s most iconic historical landmarks: 10 Trinity Square to the fit-out of L’Oréal’s Head Office on 5th Avenue in New York. Most recently, Shay has worked on Zendesk’ offices in Dublin, The Shelbourne Hotel, Clancy Quay Phase 3 (246 residential units) and Capital Dock (190 residential units).
Niamh has joined Scollard Doyle from RLF and has over eight years of Cost Management experience. Niamh has worked on a diverse range of projects in both the Public and Private sectors and she has considerable experience in the provision of Cost Consultancy, including the application of Value Engineering, Risk Management and Cost Planning.
Niamh has gained valuable experience with Cost Planning and Cost Modelling for high profile projects, her experience spans an array of sectors including Retail, Commercial Development, Residential and Education. Projects that Niamh has worked on include ‘Christchurch Convention Centre’ in New Zealand and Gatwick Airport, UK. Niamh has a valuable breadth of experience having worked with construction consultancies in the UK, New Zealand and Australia.
