We are delighted to announce that Scollard Doyle has appointed Rory O’Farrell Regional Director. Rory previously worked as a Director and Head of Cost Management for Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in the Middle East and North Africa.
Rory will be responsible for Cost and Project Management in the South of the Country and will be based in our Cork Office. (74 South Mall, Cork City).
Having initially trained as a Quantity Surveyor with Davis Langdon in Ireland, Rory developed his Project Management skillset whilst working with AECOM and JLL in the Middle East.
Rory’s experience includes: Cost and Project Management, detailed estimates, cost forecasting, procurement, feasibility studies, project planning, business model analysis, conceptual estimates, , tendering, post-contract cost management, contract administration, project controls, sustainability advice, contractual advice, claims assessment, value management and risk management.
Rory’s experience spans many sectors including Mixed-use developments; residential, hospitality, retail, commercial offices, headquarter buildings, leisure & entertainment, media & studio facilities, healthcare, education, cultural and industrial. We are delighted to have Rory as part of the team.
