Construction work has now started on The Fernwood Green and Maplewood Heights project in Tallaght, Dublin 24. Clúid, in partnership with South Dublin County Council, will deliver forty residential units across the two sites. This newbuild development will provide social housing to existing residents of the area, allowing elderly residents to live independently within their community.
23 homes will be built in the Fernwood site and 17 in Maplewood Heights. The development will consist of one- and two-bedroom units. Clúid is one of the largest providers of age-friendly housing in Ireland, in 2019 they launched ‘Clann’ – a dedicated housing body committed to providing housing and services to the over 55’s. Scollard Doyle are providing Cost Consultancy services.
