The Guinness Enterprise Centre (GEC), a not-for-profit working space located in the Liberties area of Dublin, is embarking on a major expansion that will almost double capacity. Once completed, the expanded development will see the GEC becoming home to 160 start-ups with 750 employees. The works comprise of the refurbishment of the existing floors, new café and restaurant facilities, new reception area and a two-storey extension to the building all while the building is fully live and operating as normal. Scollard Doyle are providing cost management services on the project.
