The scope included the repositioning of office blocks, replacement of existing façade, update of landscaping layout and upgrades to welfare facilities within a live environment. Scollard Doyle also provided Cost and Project Management services to a life sciences lab within the campus.
A bespoke timber and glass canopy was commissioned to cover a sunken garden which also allows additional pedestrian access to the basement carpark. ‘The Campus Cherrywood’ is considered Ireland’s most enterprising campus for life sciences. See a video of the production of the canopy here.
MOLA Architecture won ‘Green Building of the Year’ at the 2023 Irish Construction Industry Awards for the Sustainable Meeting Pods onsite which we also supported. Each pod is highly energy-efficient, producing 300% of its energy needs.
