We are looking for an ambitious Cost Manager with 8+ years’ experience to join our Cork team and support the growth of the business in the Munster region. Suitable candidates will be client-focused with strong relationship management skills. As one of our Senior Cost Managers, you will lead and deliver in all aspects of cost management and quantity surveying from project inception to completion. You will become part of a team that strives to innovate, improve, and always maintain the highest standards in service delivery. You will develop and maintain good relationships with clients, take every opportunity to uphold and increase the profile of the firm and maintain its excellent reputation within the industry.

Candidate Specification:

•  Degree-qualified Quantity Surveyor, ideally Chartered, with 8+ years’ experience predominantly in a consultancy environment.
•  Experience in a variety of construction industry sectors / project types.
•  Proven track record in delivery of cost management services.
•  Proficient in use of software packages – Excel, Word, Powerpoint, CostX or similar
•  Confident, articulate, and comfortable in client facing situations.
•  Excellent presentation skills, both verbal and written.
•  Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously and work to deadlines.
•  Willingness to challenge in a positive and engaging manner.
•  Ability to work under own initiative and take ownership of projects.
•  Strong attention to detail in preparation of reports / documentation.
•  Aptitude for business, particularly in the areas of property and construction.
•  Ambition to grow professionally and share in the management’s vision for the company.
