Description

Assistant Project Manager role with a leading Irish Construction Consultancy, based in Dun Laoghaire. The business is focussed on providing a high quality, customised and value-added service to a select group of clients. The ideal candidate will have a 2-3 years’ experience in project management, construction management/contracting, or design management environment and will have the desire and ambition to develop their career on the client-side of major construction projects.

Projects
The project portfolio spans commercial, residential, retail, leisure and education and will afford the candidate a wide breadth of experience over time. Projects span both the public and private sectors.

Role
Reporting to the Director of Project Management, the role will initially involve assisting a Senior Project Manager in the delivery of his/her projects. The candidate will have an opportunity to assist in all phases of projects, from feasibility stage, through planning and procurement and into construction and delivery. There will be immediate involvement at meetings with clients, design teams and contractors. This is a growing business and there will be many opportunities for assuming outright responsibility for projects in due course. Significant career development and training support will be provided.

Minimum

Degree in engineering, construction/project management or related field
2-3 years’ relevant industry experience
