Scollard Doyle provided procurement, programme and commercial management advisory services throughout the construction of the new Central Bank of Ireland’s Docklands Campus.
The building was the first office building in Ireland to achieve the Building Research Establishment’s Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) ‘Outstanding’ rating at design stage.
The eight-floor building accommodates 1,400+ employees and has a total floor space of 22,000 sq. m.
To ensure long term employees’ needs were met in the design, careful examination of working behaviour was undertaken before the move from Dame Street.
The building provides a sophisticated modern workplace. With a cleverly designed interior, the space ensures that employees work on the periphery of the building with access to natural day light and breakout spaces are positioned in the centre of the building.
The building has 250 meeting rooms, a 370-seat restaurant, a learning and development centre and to support sustainable travel targets; end of journey facilities. The exterior, an impressive high tech eco bronze aluminium façade.
Scollard Doyle were delighted to work in conjunction with the Bank’s Leadership Team and the Design and Construction Teams on this landmark project.
