An energetic and highly articulate chartered surveyor, Michael has vast experience managing an impressive array of projects, from initial feasibility studies to final completion and handover. During his 30-year career, he has established a reputation as a leading professional development consultant, having successfully managed the completion of many of the largest projects in Ireland. Michael is currently the managing director of Scollard Doyle, which was founded in March 2010. He was formerly the development director with the Mountbrook Property Group, and was a partner in Bruce Shaw Partnership for 13 years. Michael is a fellow of both the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland. He recently retired as Honorary Treasurer of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland, after serving for 12 years, and was invited to join the inaugural board of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, in April 2010. Michael is highly regarded in the Irish property industry and enjoys excellent relationships with a wide range of top players

Barry is a dedicated and very knowledgeable chartered quantity surveyor. Highly accomplished in the cost-management of large development projects for public and private sector clients, he has many years’ experience in estimating, procuring, contracting and cost-managing all building project types. Of course, Barry always delivers projects on-time and under-budget, and has managed multiple developments from inception to completion, and handover. He is a director of Scollard Doyle, prior to which he was the property manager with Hutchison 3G Ireland Ltd, the development manager with Mountbrook Property Group and a quantity surveyor with Bruce Shaw Partnership. Barry is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland.

A highly respected chartered quantity and building surveyor, as well as an experienced project manager. David has been involved in many high-profile projects during his 15+ year career; top international clients he has worked with include Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, Marriott, Apple Inc., Microsoft, Ernst & Young, Aramco, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and Bank of Ireland. David was employed by Bruce Shaw for over 11 years where he managed cost control teams on both the Four Seasons Park Lane London and a major university project in Saudi Arabia.In addition to his 4 years as a senior quantity surveyor and project manager with Altus Page Kirkland in Sydney, Australia, during which he was involved as a project manager for the major capital works programme at Sydney Olympic Park, post 2000 games. For a short period, he was also Bank of Ireland’s Property Programme and Logistics Manager with responsibility for the capital works programme for BOI’s administration and retail property portfolio. David’s reputation in the property and construction industry is second to none.

Moreover, James has an enviable record of completing projects with time to spare, and within clients’ budgetary parameters; naturally, many jobs have been managed from commencement to completion. Formerly a quantity surveyor with Bruce Shaw, James is an esteemed senior quantity surveyor with Scollard Doyle Limited Construction Consultants.
